Kathy Sidell Trustman, Proprietor

The restaurant business is in the bloodlines of Kathy Sidell Trustman, owner of Boston’s new The Metropolitan Club. A passionate, accomplished cook herself, Trustman has made the leap into the “family business” with an intimate yet modern steakhouse, located in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.

Coming from an influential food and restaurant family, Kathy says, “For as long as I can remember, I‘ve always wanted to open a restaurant.” Her father, Jack Sidell, has been Boston’s most influential financial backer of upstart eateries since the late 1960’s. With a background in film producing, Kathy knows how to build a talented team.
